Professional Biography

Anna D’Orazio is a doctoral candidate in the Rhetoric and Composition program at the University of Cincinnati, where she teaches a variety of undergraduate composition and professional writing courses. Her mixed-method dissertation in progress Positioning Learning Transfer as an Affective and Lifelong Act focuses on learning transfer in everyday contexts and the role of emotion and identity as mediators of transfer. Her research has appeared in Literacy in Composition Studies,  Xchanges, and Writing and Pedagogy (forthcoming).

She has served on the Executive Board for the Consortium of Doctoral Programs in Rhetoric and Composition and has had memberships with the Global Society of Online Literacy Educators and the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in Rhetoric and Composition.
