I am Anna D'Orazio, a PhD candidate and Taft Dissertation Fellow at the University of Cincinnati where I am working towards my degree in Rhetoric and Composition. 

 My research focuses on writing and learning transfer, student-centered pedagogies, writing through the lifespan, and technical/professional communication. My dissertation Positioning Learning Transfer as an Affective and Lifelong Act addresses these areas by examining acts of everyday writing and learning activity.
